Abstract
The present study was done to evaluate the effectiveness of selected intervention strategies on early detection of cancer breast in terms of knowledge, attitude, practice among women at Nanchiyampalayam, Dharapuram. The study findings revealed that paired„t‟ value for knowledge was 17.942, for attitude was 10.873 and for practice was 15.336 which was significant at p<0.05 . There was a positive correlation (r= 0.70) between the knowledge and attitude of cancer breast among women. The findings revealed that adequate breast self examination practices will help the women to detect cancer breast at early stage.
